A shocking turn of events has gripped Arkansas as authorities launch a manhunt following a deadly motorcycle collision. Residents are left reeling as details continue to emerge.
Arkansas State Police have secured warrants for Rkeavius Morrison in connection with a September 2 fatal motorcycle crash on North State Line Avenue, charging him with fleeing by vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious injury or death.
Warrants Issued for Morrison
The Arkansas State Police obtained warrants for Rkeavius Morrison, according to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department. He faces one count of fleeing by vehicle resulting in serious physical injury or death and one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious physical injury or death. The warrants were issued on September 4, 2026.
The incident began when a Texarkana police officer tried to contact Morrison, who appeared unconscious behind the wheel. Morrison then drove away at high speed, striking a motorcycle near Realtor Avenue. The motorcycle rider died at the scene.
Morrison fled the area after the crash and remains at large. The deceased rider’s identity has not been released. Police urge the public not to attempt an apprehension and to call 911 for immediate assistance.
