According to the North Little Rock Fire Department, crews arrived early before shift change to a reported residential structure fire in the area of Parker and Division. They found heavy smoke and flames visible from the residence. The fire was located in a home.
Fire attack was initiated while crews conducted primary and secondary searches of the home. Both searches were completed with no occupants found inside, confirming the house was empty. The searches ensured safety before fire suppression.
The blaze had extended into portions of the attic, requiring additional work to expose hidden areas. Crews worked to fully extinguish the fire in those concealed spaces. Their efforts ensured the fire was completely out.
