Complex Closed After High‑Voltage Line Discovery
The City of Searcy confirmed the complex is temporarily closed because exposed high‑voltage Entergy lines were found during culvert repair work. All gates have been locked for public safety.
Entergy is scheduled to be on site Wednesday morning to address the hazardous lines. The utility aims to complete the necessary repairs promptly.
Officials anticipate the complex could reopen sometime Thursday once the lines are secured. Exact reopening times are not yet known.
The public is asked not to attempt entry while the site remains closed, and the city will issue an update when it is safe to return. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
