A wave of community enthusiasm swept through Bella Vista as a local police training program received an unexpected sweet boost, sparking optimism among officers and residents alike.
During the past week the Bella Vista Police Department hosted an in‑house training for officers from ten Northwest Arkansas departments, with Fresh Donuts Bella Vista, Harps Foods and Allen’s Foods providing donuts, kolaches, fruit, snacks, soda and water to support the participants.
Police Training Receives Community Food Donations
The Bella Vista Police Department hosted an in‑house training week for officers from ten different Northwest Arkansas departments. The sessions ran each day during the past week. The training took place at the Bella Vista precinct.
Fresh Donuts Bella Vista supplied daily boxes of donuts and kolaches to the participants. The department thanked the business for its generous donation. The treats were intended to “fuel the learning process each morning.”
Harps Foods and Allen’s Foods also contributed fruit, snacks, soda, and bottled water for the week. Their contributions supplemented the morning offerings. The department highlighted the importance of this community support.
