A dedication ceremony honoring area veterans will be held Friday, September 25, at the Cushman City Park on Highway 69.
The Cushman Veterans Memorial Dedication will begin at 10 a.m.
The memorial includes the names of more than 500 veterans and will serve as a permanent tribute to the men and women who have served the United States.
The Stone County Honor Guard and the Southside Choir will participate in the dedication program.
The event is being organized by the Cushman Veterans Committee.
