ARKANSAS — Brandon Lee Britten and Sierra Dawn Britten are now facing a combined 6 felony charges in a developing case involving allegations of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, according to the latest press release.

are in Custody
The new charges mark the latest development in an investigation ArkansasRadio.com has been following since authorities announced earlier this month that both defendants were being held on $1 million bonds while investigators continued working with prosecutors and the FBI.
According to the latest information released by Sheriff Shawn Stephens: Brandon Lee Britten faces 3 felony counts, while Sierra Dawn Britten faces 3 felony counts as an alleged accomplice.
The charges remain allegations, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
BRANDON LEE BRITTEN CHARGED WITH 3 FELONIES
According to the press release, Brandon Lee Britten has been charged with:
Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor — 1 count, listed as a Class B felony under Arkansas law.
Internet Stalking of a Child — 1 count, listed in the release as a Class Y felony.
Rape — 1 count, a Class Y felony.
The traveling charge was filed under Arkansas Code Annotated Section 5-18-107.
The Internet Stalking of a Child charge was filed under Arkansas Code Annotated Section 5-27-306.
The release does not provide additional details about the underlying allegations, and ArkansasRadio.com is not publishing information that could identify the minor involved in the case.
SIERRA DAWN BRITTEN FACES ACCOMPLICE CHARGES
Sierra Dawn Britten also faces 3 felony counts.
According to the release, she has been charged with:
Accomplice of Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor — 1 count, a Class B felony.
Accomplice of Internet Stalking of a Child — 1 count, listed as a felony.
Accomplice of Rape — 1 count, a Class Y felony.
The latest announcement therefore brings the total number of charges against the 2 defendants to 6 felony counts.
EARLIER COURT ACTION SET BOND AT $1 MILLION EACH
The latest charges follow an earlier development in the case on September 11, 2026.
According to a previous press release from Sheriff Shawn Stephens, investigators presented a probable cause statement that morning to Circuit Judge Kimberly Edington.
Judge Edington determined there was probable cause for the arrests and set bond at $1 million for Brandon Britten and $1 million for Sierra Britten.
At that stage of the investigation, Sheriff Stephens said the case remained ongoing and would be presented to the prosecuting attorney’s office for formal charges.
The latest release now provides the specific state felony charges filed against the 2 defendants.
SHERIFF SAID DEPARTMENT WAS WORKING WITH FBI
In the September 11 release, Sheriff Stephens also said his department was continuing to work with the local FBI field office.
Stephens said that cooperation was being conducted “for the purpose of federal indictments.”
However, the latest press release announcing the 6 felony charges does not announce any federal charges or federal indictments against either defendant.
Any federal case would be separate from the state charges now announced.
ArkansasRadio.com will continue monitoring whether additional charges or federal court action are announced.
CASE REMAINS UNDER SCRUTINY
The case has continued to develop as investigators, prosecutors and law enforcement agencies work through the allegations.
The latest charges include some of the most serious felony classifications under Arkansas law, including multiple Class Y felony allegations.
The press release does not provide additional information concerning the alleged victim, the timeline of the alleged offenses or the evidence prosecutors intend to present in court.
Because the case involves a minor, ArkansasRadio.com will not identify the alleged victim or publish information that could reasonably lead to the child’s identification.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
With formal state felony charges now announced, the case will move forward through the criminal court system.
Additional court proceedings could include arraignment, motions, hearings and other pretrial matters before any potential trial.
The prosecution would have the burden of proving the allegations beyond a reasonable doubt.
The $1 million bonds announced earlier in the investigation were set following the probable cause determination by Judge Edington.
Any future changes to bond conditions, charges or court scheduling would be determined through subsequent court proceedings.
