Stallion Transportation Group is strengthening access to education, entertainment and the arts through a generous contribution supporting Arkansas State University-Beebe’s 2026-2027 Performing Arts Series.
Stallion Transportation owner and CEO Butch Rice, joined by his sons Colt Rice and Garland Rice, recently presented the gift to ASU-Beebe leaders during a special check presentation.
College officials said the contribution will help ASU-Beebe continue presenting nationally recognized speakers, musicians and entertainers while keeping performances affordable and accessible for students, families and residents throughout the surrounding communities.
“Community partnerships like this are what make our Performing Arts Series possible,” said Andrea Cole, associate vice chancellor for institutional advancement at ASU-Beebe.
Cole thanked Butch Rice and the Stallion Transportation team for their continued investment in the college. She said support from the company and the series’ other sponsors allows ASU-Beebe to bring outstanding performers and speakers to campus each year.
“These experiences enrich the lives of our students and strengthen the connection between the college and the communities we serve,” Cole said.
Stallion Transportation has been a longtime supporter of ASU-Beebe, demonstrating its commitment to higher education and community engagement through partnerships benefiting students and the region.

The 2026-2027 Performing Arts Series features concerts, lectures and special events created to engage audiences of all ages while furthering ASU-Beebe’s mission of serving the educational and cultural needs of its communities.

ASU-Beebe was founded in 1927 and is an operationally separate, 2-year institution of the Arkansas State University System. The college has campuses in Beebe, Heber Springs and Searcy, as well as at Little Rock Air Force Base and online.
