Some of the region’s top grappling athletes will converge on Fairfield Bay later this month as Momentum Grappling & MMA hosts the Summer Showdown Grappling Tournament on Saturday, July 18, at the Fairfield Bay Conference Center.
Competition begins at 3 p.m. and will feature an afternoon and evening packed with exciting matches showcasing competitors of all ages and experience levels.
The tournament will include several divisions and events, including:
Gi Grappling
No-Gi Grappling
Wrestling
Absolute Divisions
Superfights
Quintet Team Competition
Tournament organizers say the Summer Showdown is designed to showcase the region’s top grappling talent while bringing competitors, families, and spectators to Fairfield Bay for a memorable day of competition.
Whether you’re an experienced martial arts enthusiast, a mixed martial arts fan, a wrestling supporter, or simply looking for an exciting family-friendly event, organizers say spectators can expect nonstop action from the opening matches through the championship finals.
