First Community Bank has announced the promotion of Michelle Reesor to executive vice president of operations and risk.
In her expanded leadership position, Reesor will oversee the bank’s operations and risk functions while providing strategic direction for operational excellence, enterprise risk management, project management, policy development and organizational initiatives supporting continued growth.
Reesor will also play an important role in the bank’s strategic planning, expansion into new markets and execution of major projects.

Reesor has more than 39 years of experience in the financial industry and was among the original 14 employees who helped open First Community Bank in 1997.
She currently serves on the bank’s executive committee, product development team and several internal committees responsible for helping guide the organization’s strategic direction.
Reesor is a graduate of Lyon College in Batesville and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
She is also actively involved in the Batesville community and currently serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville.
Reesor previously served as a board member for United Way of Independence County and is a member of Concord First Baptist Church.
She and her husband, Jerry, have 2 sons, Clint and Cameron, and 4 grandchildren, Elliot, Opal Jane, Auggie and Ruby. Reesor enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

First Community Bank is locally owned and managed. The bank opened August 4, 1997, in Batesville, Arkansas.
