A large crowd gathered Thursday afternoon as community leaders, students, educators, and residents celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Searcy High School Ag-Tech Center in Searcy Arkansas.

The ceremony took place at the future site of the new facility located at 301 North Ella Street and marked a major milestone for agricultural education and workforce development in the Searcy School District.
School officials said the new Ag-Tech Center will provide expanded hands-on learning opportunities for students pursuing careers in agriculture, technical education, and workforce training programs.
District leaders, school board members, teachers, students, local business leaders, and community supporters participated in the ceremony as construction officially began on the project.
Officials described the new facility as an investment in the future of Searcy High School students and the continued growth of career-focused education programs in White County Arkansas.
Community members attending the event praised the district’s commitment to creating new educational opportunities that will help prepare students for careers in agriculture and skilled trades across Arkansas.
The Searcy School District said the Ag-Tech Center will support innovation, career readiness, and expanded technical training opportunities for future generations of students.
