Aromatique has announced a long-term partnership with Fleming International, LTD. that is expected to significantly expand manufacturing operations in Heber Springs and create approximately 100 new jobs.

The announcement was made during a ribbon cutting celebration hosted by the Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce at Aromatique’s Ely Production Facility.
According to Aromatique CEO Steve Lawrence, the partnership follows more than 18 months of evaluations involving retail partners, audits, supplier meetings, and plant tours in both Vietnam and Arkansas. Lawrence emphasized the agreement is not a merger or acquisition, but a unique OEM partnership where Aromatique will provide United States manufacturing facilities, skilled labor, and technical support while Fleming International provides equipment, engineering, raw materials, and customer relationships.
Production is already underway with purchase orders exceeding 1.5 million candles scheduled for June shipments. Company officials estimate annual production could surpass 10 million units.
Chad Evans, President and COO of Aromatique, said the new operation will function under The Wax Atelier, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fleming International. Evans said the facility is expected to expand into 2-shift operations by June.
Officials with Fleming International said Aromatique’s reputation for quality and decades of experience in the fragrance industry helped secure the partnership after a nationwide search for a manufacturing partner.
Company leaders from both organizations said they believe the partnership will create long-term economic benefits for Heber Springs and the surrounding community.
