Fatal Crash in Southside Arkansas Claims 1 Life, 2 Injured

A devastating accident in Southside, Arkansas.

Authorities have released new details following a deadly crash that occurred Monday morning in Southside at U.S. 167 and Nelly Belle Lane.

According to the Arkansas State Police, 57 year old Eddie Ray Stuckey of Judsonia Arkansas was killed in the crash. Two others were injured, including 46 year old Kristy Wood of Locust Grove Arkansas and 62 year old Connie Smith of Clinton Arkansas.

Investigators say a Nissan Altima crossed the center line and struck a GMC Acadia head on. The Altima then entered the northbound lane, where it was struck by a Cadillac.

Officials report weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
