Students from Cave City High School’s Caveman Radio program are celebrating major success after earning top honors at the 2026 Arkansas State University Great Media Fest.

The statewide competition featured hundreds of entries across categories including photography, graphic design, audio, and video production. Caveman Radio students stood out by winning multiple awards across several audio divisions.
In the Audio Talent category, Allison Kittrell and Shania Farris earned honorable mentions, while Alyssa Downs received bronze honors. Kian Brashers and Lincoln Hunter took silver, and Kon Lonchay and Noah Nichols captured gold.
In Long Form Audio, which includes podcasts, honorable mentions went to Allison Kittrell and Samuel Matthews. Matthew Sullivan earned bronze, Alyssa Downs received silver, and Lincoln Hunter won gold.
In the Audio Spot category, honorable mentions included Kaysen Satterwhite, Dylan Mooneyhan, Huston Holley, Kendall Quinn, and Christina Kerr. Liam Moser earned bronze, while Clayton Downs took gold.
Additionally, Allison Kittrell earned gold honors in Audio Soft Reporting for her Thanksgiving program.
Organizers say the Cave City Caveman Radio students once again demonstrated excellence in broadcast production, earning recognition from Arkansas State University staff and students.
