A minor earthquake was recorded late Friday night near Strawberry Arkansas, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake occurred at 11:58 p.m. and measured 2.1 in magnitude. Officials say the epicenter was located about 3.6 miles south-southwest of Strawberry and 19.8 miles east-northeast of Batesville Arkansas.
The tremor was recorded at a depth of approximately 9.6 miles.
As of 11:00 a.m. Saturday, no residents had reported feeling the earthquake, and there were no reports of damage or injuries.
The USGS encourages anyone who may have felt the quake to submit a report through its website to assist with tracking seismic activity.
