A Little Rock man who led law enforcement on a high-speed chase while carrying kilograms of fentanyl and a firearm has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison.

According to federal authorities, 38-year-old Clifford Siglar was sentenced to 140 months in prison, followed by 5 years of supervised release, by U.S. District Judge James M. Moody, Jr. The sentence was announced by United States Attorney Jonathan D. Ross for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
Siglar previously pleaded guilty on October 1, 2025, to possession with intent to distribute more than 400 grams of fentanyl.
The case stems from an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, which identified Siglar as a suspected drug distributor operating out of a residence in Little Rock. On August 26, 2024, officers observed him placing suspected narcotics into a black Chevrolet Camaro before attempting a traffic stop.
Before officers could initiate the stop, Siglar fled, leading police on a pursuit reaching speeds of more than 114 miles per hour. Officers with the Little Rock Police Department and Arkansas State Police joined the chase. The pursuit ended when a state trooper immobilized the vehicle, causing it to crash into trees.
Siglar was ejected from the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended.
A search of the vehicle revealed a .57-caliber handgun on the driver’s floorboard and a backpack in the trunk containing approximately 2.6 kilograms of fentanyl along with digital scales. Authorities say the seized fentanyl could have produced more than 26,000 individual doses.
Officials also confirmed Siglar had a prior felony conviction for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
The case was investigated by the DEA, Little Rock Police Department, and Arkansas State Police, and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Lauren Eldridge.
