White River Health is recognizing a major professional achievement by laboratory leader Tyler Johnson, supervisor of Blood Bank, Serology, and Pathology services.
Johnson has earned a Master of Science in Transfusion Medicine and now holds an ASCP Specialty Certification in Blood Banking — becoming the first laboratory employee in the organization’s history to achieve either credential.
Hospital officials say the accomplishment reflects Johnson’s dedication to clinical excellence, patient safety, and advanced laboratory science. Transfusion medicine plays a critical role in emergency care, surgery, and ongoing patient treatment.
