Lyon College will host a Faculty Colloquium featuring Dr. Jason Kennedy, assistant professor of anthropology, on Friday, Feb. 27, at 4 p.m. in the Nucor Auditorium of the Lyon Business and Economics Building on the campus at 2300 Highland Rd., Batesville.

Dr. Kennedy’s presentation, titled “Dirty Work: Preliminary Results and Reflections from the Lyon College Archaeological Field School at Greenbrier (3IN1),” will highlight findings and insights from recent archaeological fieldwork conducted through the college’s field school program.
The Faculty Colloquium series showcases scholarly and creative work by Lyon College faculty and provides opportunities for students, faculty, staff and community members to engage with current research across disciplines.
The event is free and open to the public.
