The City of Cabot has been recognized for its holiday generosity, receiving the 2025 Mayoral Bell Ringing Challenge Trophy from the Salvation Army.

Cabot Mayor Ken Kincade and Major Kenny Igleheart of the Salvation Army

The award was presented during Monday night’s City Council meeting after Cabot raised the most money among Central Arkansas cities during the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign held on December 5.

Following the presentation, Cabot Mayor Ken Kincade shared the following statement:

“I want to thank my Department Heads and other leaders who helped ring the bell out in the freezing cold temps. I truly want to thank, you, the citizens of Cabot for being so generous and donating during the holiday season. This is the second award presented to Cabot recently for everyone’s hard work. Thank you to Major Kenny Igleheart of the Salvation Army for presenting the award. Way to go Cabot!”

The trophy was presented by Major Kenny Igleheart and marks another milestone recognizing Cabot’s strong spirit of community service and charitable giving.
