White River Health Welcomes Cardiologist Dr. Joe Forney to Batesville

White River Health has announced the addition of Joe Forney, MD to the White River Health Cardiology Annex in Batesville.

Dr. Forney brings 42 years of experience in cardiology and joins Baber Khan, MD and Sania Khan, MD in providing comprehensive heart care to patients across North Central Arkansas. He is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Forney treats a wide range of heart conditions and specializes in preventive cardiology, including management of high blood pressure and cholesterol, cardiovascular disease care, cardiac rhythm monitoring, and diagnostic cardiology services.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri, completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Nebraska, and returned to the University of Missouri to complete a cardiovascular fellowship at its University Medical Center in Columbia.

The White River Health Cardiology Annex is located at 407 Virginia Drive in Batesville and is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. To schedule an appointment or for more information, patients may call (870) 793-4200.
