Lyon College will honor four outstanding alumni during the 2025 Lyon College Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Banquet at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, November 22, in Patterson Dining Hall at Edwards Commons on the Lyon College campus.
This year’s inductees include Dr. Melissa Hicks ’78 (volleyball), Jonathan Donaldson ’08 (men’s basketball), Zachary Wallace ’10 (baseball), and Jordan Layrock ’15 (men’s basketball).
Dr. Melissa Hicks excelled in volleyball while earning her BA in biology and chemistry and later became a physician and community leader in Asheville, NC.
Jonathan Donaldson ranks in Lyon College’s top 10 for points, assists, and steals in men’s basketball history and earned NAIA All-American Honorable Mention honors.
Zachary Wallace set school records in baseball for on-base percentage and batting average and continues to serve students as an assistant principal in Siloam Springs.
Jordan Layrock holds the men’s basketball record for career blocks and now serves as VP of IT at Bad Boy Mowers, contributing to his community and church.
Cindy Barber, executive director of alumni engagement, noted the ceremony celebrates excellence and reconnects alumni with the Lyon community.
