Arkansas State University-Beebe Symphonic Band and White County Community Band to Perform Free Concert Nov. 17

The Arkansas State University-Beebe Department of Music will present the ASU-Beebe Symphonic Band, joined by members of the White County Community Band, in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, in the Owen Center Theater on the Beebe campus, 1102 West College Street. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. Brent Bristow, ASU-Beebe’s Director of Bands and Professor of Music, will perform selections from renowned composers Ed Huckeby, Brian Balmages, Samuel Hazo, Rob Romeyn, Jim Johnson, Jeremy Bell, Steven Pyter, Matt Conway, and James Swearingen.

ASU-Beebe offers an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree with emphasis areas in vocal music, instrumental music, theater, graphic design, and creative arts enterprise—a two-year program designed for seamless transfer to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
