Lanaya Wallace, a 26-year-old from North Little Rock, was arrested by the Conway Police Department on August 5, 2025.
She faces charges of theft of property valued at $2,500.The incident occurred on June 1, 2025, at the Walmart Supercenter located at 3000 Dave Ward Dr., Conway.

A store employee, who reportedly served as the alleged witness, reported observing Wallace taking items without payment. The employee’s statement to Conway police detailed the incident, prompting further investigation.
An affidavit for an arrest warrant was filed by the Faulkner County Prosecuting Attorney’s office on July 7, 2025.
Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney John Hout notified authorities of the approved charge via email on June 20, 2025. Detective Ivan Cortes signed the affidavit, which was reviewed and approved by a judge on July 11, 2025.
Wallace was booked into custody at 2:05 p.m. on August 5, 2025, with booking number 202502849.
Her original court date is scheduled for August 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. The arrest follows a finding of reasonable and probable cause by the Circuit Court of Faulkner County. The case remains under investigation as legal proceedings continue.
