Joshua Andrew Covington, a 30-year-old from Conway, Arkansas, was arrested on June 2, 2025, at 12:39 PM. The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office booked him following a residential burglary investigation.
Conway Man Arrested On Burglary Charges Reportedly Involving Dolly
According to case files, The incident began on February 28, 2025, when a woman reported her home on Jones Dr. in Conway was burglarized.
Surveillance footage reportedly captured a suspect matching Covington’s description at a nearby property on Clifton St. on March 1, 2025. He was allegedly seen with a dolly, moving a TV, suitcase, and other items, which were later recovered.
Covington was initially spotted by Officer Rogers on March 4, 2025, during a suspicious person call on Gist St. After confirming his identity and matching him to the burglary photos, Rogers arrested him for reportedly having an active parole violation.
During the arrest, Covington reportedly refused to identify himself, leading to additional charges for obstructing governmental operations. A search revealed his ID, reportedly confirming he was wanted for absconding by the Arkansas Board of Parole.
Covington faces charges of residential burglary, a Class B felony, theft of property, a Class D felony, and criminal mischief, a Class A misdemeanor. He reportedly has four prior felony convictions, as noted in court records.
He was transported to Faulkner County Unit 2 for booking after an interview where he reportedly requested legal counsel. His parole officer reportedly placed a hold on him due to his absconding status.
