On April 26, 2025, Fairfield Bay Marina is hosting a “Boati-Gras” event from 12 to 4 PM. The celebration honors Jim Beach, the first King of the Krewe of Jesters. It will be at the Fairfield Bay Marina.

Boati-Gras Is Coming To Fairfield Bay

This Cajun-style festival welcomes families for a day of Mardi Gras-themed excitement. Highlights include food vendors, live New Orleans music, and a costume contest with prizes.

A Blessing of the Fleet kicks off the maritime festivities. A colorful boat parade follows, showcasing creatively decorated vessels.

Boaters can join the decorating contest by adorning their crafts with Mardi Gras flair, like beads and bold colors. Prizes await the top three most festive boats.

The marina offers rentals, fishing, and swimming for all-day enjoyment. Families can make lasting memories in a lively, festive atmosphere.

Costume enthusiasts can compete for best-dressed man and woman awards. The event promises a spirited celebration of community and culture.
