A man has been charged with residential burglary in White County, Arkansas.
Delpherd Matthew Owens, 41, of Beebe, Arkansas, faces multiple charges after reportedly forcibly entering a residence on January 11, 2025. He was arrested on March 18, 2025, and is held on a $35,000 bond.
Beebe Man Accused Of Confronting Woman At Gas Station Before Breaking Into Home
Owens is accused of breaking into a woman’s home at near Blackjack Mountain Road, damaging a door frame valued at $700. The incident followed a confrontation with the woman at a gas station earlier that evening.
Authorities say Owens assaulted the woman inside the home and threatened the woman, saying, “b**** I’ll f*** you up, this is not going to stop. [redacted]” This led to charges of residential burglary, a Class B felony, and terroristic threatening, a Class A misdemeanor.
The White County Sheriff’s Department responded to the burglary report, with Detective Andrew Palmer filing an affidavit for Owens’ arrest. Palmer noted and alleged that Owens’ actions caused property damage and instilled fear.
Owens also faces a first-degree criminal mischief charge for the door frame damage, classified as a Class A misdemeanor. Prosecuting Attorney Rebecca Reed McCoy filed the information, and a judge found probable cause for his detention.
