Arkansas PBS has announced that “Mystery League,” an educational series filmed in Arkansas, will premiere nationally on PBS KIDS on March 21. The show aims to teach children about friendship and community through the adventures of young detectives. PBS’s streaming platform reaches a whopping 16 million monthly users.
PBS Announces New Production Filmed In Arkansas
Courtney Pledger, Arkansas PBS Executive Director and CEO, expressed excitement about the national broadcast. “Mystery League” showcases the state’s creative talent and production capabilities.
The series will be accessible via PBS KIDS broadcast and streaming platforms. With millions of monthly users, PBS KIDS provides a vast audience for “Mystery League.”
In “Mystery League,” viewers follow Millie, Mike, and Marta as they solve mysteries in Mulberry Springs, Arkansas. The show targets 5-8 year-olds with lessons on civics, geography, and community involvement.
The series was intentionally filmed to reflect life in Arkansas’s small towns, said producer Kumpuris. It offers Arkansas children a chance to see their lives portrayed on TV.
“Mystery League” episodes will also be part of PBS KIDS Family Night marathons, airing on specific dates in March on Arkansas PBS. Additionally, the series will be available on various digital platforms starting March 21.
