Fulton County Sheriff’s Office reports that a couple have been arrested after a new kind of crime.

According to law enforcement, 2 people working at a convenience store vandalized and stole Bitcoin cryptocurrency from a bitcoin machine in Fulton County, Arkansas. ArkansasRadio.com reporter Tony Mac provides the details below.

Two Arrested For Stealing Thousands In Bitcoin

Elizabeth Jane Austin, 52, and Dennis Kemp, 41, were reportedly arrested for the crime of breaking an entering and theft.

They reportedly found a way to use money belonging to the convenience store to trade it in for cryptocurrency. Using the same money multiple times.

This comes after Fayetteville Police Department issued a warning about new cryptocurrency crimes coming to the state of Arkansas.

Cryptocurrency ATMs are fairly new to the world. They didn’t really take off until the early 2010s and have slowly gained in popularity.
