A young Shirley man has been slapped with some very serious charges.
Trevor Ashton Ealy, a 23-year-old from Shirley, AR, was arrested early on December 12, 2024. Details were released by Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office. You can view his suspect photo below.
Details Released After Shirley, Arkansas Suspect’s Arrest
Ealy faces multiple charges including Domestic Battering – 3rd Degree, Violation of a Protection Order, and Aggravated Assault.
Ealy was taken into custody at 2:31 AM on a $100,000 bond.
His court date is set for January 27, 2025.
The arrest follows alleged incidents involving serious injury and legal protection order breaches.
In Arkansas, the violation of a protection order is typically a Class A misdemeanor. However, it can be elevated to a Class D felony if the offense is committed within five years of a previous conviction for violating an order of protection, and the order was issued after a hearing where the person had actual notice and an opportunity to participate.
