It was the celebration of over 100 years of service on Thursday, December 5th.
Thompson’s Jewelry in Batesville, Arkansas celebrated 100 years of being in business on Main Street in Batesville. Over 7 radio stations attended with a live broadcast to celebrate the historic occasion. The Mayor of Batesville, Rick Elumbaugh, also made a special appearance, photographed below.

There were free hotdogs, beverages, popcorn, and sandwiches from a local caterer inside.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of offerings. From 11 AM to 12 PM, Stella’s Catering provided a selection of dishes to delight the crowd.
Following that, from 12 PM to 2 PM, the Arkansas Radio network stations including KFFB 106.1, KWCK 99.9, Cowboy 100.7 KEAZ, COOL 104.7 and 99.1, and The Bull 105.7 stepped up, serving hot dogs to keep everyone’s energy up.
Adding to the excitement, there were free giveaways from Enesco and Seiko, making the event not just a feast for the taste buds but also an opportunity to grab some exclusive items.
The day was filled with fun and community spirit, ensuring it was an event not to be missed. Not many businesses are strong enough to survive 100 years of service. It’s an event to be commemorated and remembered.
