Arkansans impacted by the recent storm disaster could get reimbursement for buying equipment!
According to NWA Homepage, if you bought a generator or chainsaw, you can get reimbursement with a maximum of $219 cost for a chainsaw and $629 for a generator. Rules apply for equipment bought or rented.
Requirements For Reimbursement Revealed
The following requirements apply if you want reimbursement:
- You bought or rented a generator or chainsaw after May 24.
- You satisfy the fundamental eligibility criteria for FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program.
- Your primary residence is located in a county approved for FEMA Individual Assistance, which presently includes Benton, Boone, and Marion counties.
- You bought or rented the generator because of a necessity brought on by the disaster.
- You have submitted proof-of-purchase or rental receipts for the items.
