A semi-truck burst into flames in North Little Rock, Arkansas!
On April 9, 2025, a commercial vehicle fire erupted on I-40 eastbound near Galloway. North Little Rock’s Engine 2 and Engine 10 responded around 5:30 a.m. You can see photographs from the scene below.
Semi-Truck Bursts Into Flames Near North Little Rock
Engine 10 reported heavy flames at the tractor’s rear upon arrival. The captain swiftly took command and launched a fire attack.
Firefighters controlled the blaze within minutes. The fire barely reached the trailer, causing moderate damage.
No cargo was harmed, and no hazardous materials were involved. Thankfully, no injuries occurred.
The early hour minimized traffic disruptions. All units cleared the scene safely and efficiently.
Interstate operations remain hazardous for firefighters. The North Little Rock Fire Department commended their team’s quick response.
