The IRS says Arkansans who did not file their 2020 tax year returns could be eligible for nearly $1,000 if they file by this Friday.
Last Monday, the IRS said more than $938 million in refunds remained unclaimed for those who have yet to file their 2020 tax returns.
The IRS said about 8,700 Arkansans have not filed their 2020 tax returns and are missing out on a total of $9,392.60 in refunds. People were given more time than usual to file due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
