The Arkansas Economic Development Commission has awarded $8,478,624 in Community Development Block Grants to 17 Arkansas cities and counties. Kensett in White County is receiving $499,750 for wastewater improvements.
Lonoke County has been allocated $498,874 for sewer line rehabilitation. Pangburn is set to receive $500,000 for wastewater collection system rehabilitation.
Van Buren County will receive $500,000 specifically for road improvements.
