KARK’s Chief Meteorologist, Todd Yakoubian, just shared a photograph on social media of a mysterious cloud formation above Bryant, Arkansas. The photo was submitted to him by someone named Beverly McElmurry.

Todd Yakoubian called the cloud formation a “shelf cloud.”

According to the National Weather Service, a shelf cloud is usually associated with a solid line of storms.

The photograph comes as storms pass over Arkansas.
