Two men from Mountain View got arrested after police found a lot of crystal meth during an investigation. Brandon Muse, 35, and Jessie E. Fletcher, 47, were caught in Oil Trough on Sunday. They had over 115 grams of meth, which is a serious crime. The police, along with other agencies, found drug-related items in their car too.
The 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force’s Commander, Johnny Byler, shared that Muse was under investigation for selling a large amount of meth earlier. The investigation involved not just the Drug Task Force and Mountain View Police but also the Independence County Sheriff’s Office, Newport Police, and Arkansas State Police.
Muse and Fletcher now have a $50,000 bond each. They are facing felony charges for having meth with the intention to sell it, which is a very serious crime.
