Just in time for holiday travel, gas prices in Arkansas are on the rise. According to a survey by GasBuddy.com of 1,826 Arkansas gas stations, the lowest price in the state was $2.64 per gallon, while the highest was $3.03 per gallon.
GasBuddy.com reports that the average price of unleaded gas in Arkansas increased by 13.4 cents last week, reaching $3.03 per gallon. Nationally, the average price rose by 5 cents over the past week to $3.46 per gallon.
This significant increase in gas prices comes at a crucial time for holiday travelers, impacting budgets and travel plans across the state.
