Residents of Faulkner County were startled today as details emerged about a dramatic fire‑engine rollover that has dominated local headlines.

Official eight‑page Arkansas State Police crash report and driver and witness statements for the September 19, 2026 Greenbrier Fire Department Engine 1 rollover have been released by Faulkner County Fire Buff, revealing damage estimates, driver injuries and a noted discrepancy in the reported crash location.

Greenbrier Engine 1 Rollover Report Released

Faulkner County Fire Buff obtained the official eight‑page Arkansas State Police crash report along with written statements from the driver and a witness. The documents pertain to the September 19, 2026 rollover of Greenbrier Fire Department’s Engine 1. All identifying personal information has been redacted for privacy.

According to the report, Engine 1 was traveling westbound on Highway 225 at about 1:16 p.m. when its rear passenger‑side wheels left the roadway. The apparatus attempted to correct its path, veered left, then right, crossed the centerline, struck a culvert, entered a ditch and came to rest on its roof facing northwest.

Investigators recorded approximately $100,000 in damage to the 1995 Pierce fire engine and classified the driver’s condition as a suspected minor injury. The driver was transported by Pafford EMS to Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway. The report cited ‘inattentive, careless, negligent, or erratic operation’ but did not pinpoint a specific distraction, mechanical fault or speed.

A discrepancy in the crash location is noted: the police report lists Highway 225 at Wilson Farm Road, while the rollover actually occurred near the intersection of Highway 225 and Tyler Street. Faulkner County Fire Buff is making the redacted report and statements available to the public free of charge upon request. Additional investigative footage has been requested from Arkansas State Police, and further updates will be provided as they are verified.
