Downtown Searcy will come alive this weekend as Main Street Searcy’s Get Down Downtown festival returns Friday and Saturday, September 25–26, with live music, vendors, family activities, concessions and a free Saturday-night concert featuring country star Craig Morgan.
Admission to the festival and its scheduled concerts is free, and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and spend the weekend enjoying activities throughout downtown Searcy.
CRAIG MORGAN HIGHLIGHTS SATURDAY NIGHT
One of the biggest highlights of the weekend will come Saturday night when Craig Morgan takes the First Security Bank Stage at the Courthouse Square at 8 PM.
Frank Ray will open the show at 6:30 PM.
Admission to both performances is free. Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for the outdoor concerts.
LIVE MUSIC ALL WEEKEND
Live music will be featured Friday evening and throughout the day Saturday on the First Security Bank Stage.
The stage will serve as the center of the festival’s entertainment before Frank Ray and Craig Morgan close out Saturday night.
UNITY HEALTH KID ZONE RETURNS SATURDAY
Families will also have plenty to do Saturday during the Unity Health Kid Zone from 10 AM until 3 PM in historic Spring Park.
Activities are scheduled to include:
Pony rides
Petting zoo
Games
Inflatables
Face painting
Karaoke
A special creature feature from the Little Rock Zoo
Kid-friendly entertainment will also be featured on the Unity Health Stage.
Admission to the Kid Zone is free.
FUNNEL CAKE 5K, VENDORS AND CONCESSIONS
The weekend will also include the Funnel Cake 5K, along with vendors and concession operators lining the streets of downtown Searcy.
Family activities will continue throughout Friday evening and all day Saturday.
FREE ADMISSION
Admission to Get Down Downtown, the Unity Health Kid Zone and the scheduled concerts is free.
Festival activities will take place throughout downtown Searcy, including the Courthouse Square and Spring Park.
Get Down Downtown is presented by the Searcy Advertising and Promotion Fund, with music sponsored in part by White River Flooring.
