Employees with the City of Searcy Arkansas came together to support local families in need during a successful community food drive that collected thousands of donations.
City officials announced employees collected a total of 2,574 food items during the campaign benefiting local families across the community.
The Searcy Fire Department collected the most overall donations with an impressive 930 items contributed during the drive.
Meanwhile, the city’s Planning and Development Department earned top honors in the per-employee challenge by averaging 56.14 donated items per employee.
Officials also thanked La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza in Searcy Arkansas for providing lunch for the winning department.
City leaders praised employees for their teamwork and generosity, saying the effort reflects the strong community spirit found throughout Searcy Arkansas.
