Big honors are coming to Quitman following the close of the Arkansas high school basketball season, as the Arkansas Basketball Coaches Association recognized standout achievements from Quitman Athletics.
Coach Hooten has been named 2A Girls Basketball Coach of the Year, highlighting a strong season for the Quitman Lady Bulldogs program.
Player Honors
In addition to the coaching award, 2 Quitman athletes have earned statewide recognition:
Madilyn Varvil — Named among the Top 5 Players in 2A Girls Basketball
Lexi Hobbs — Named among the Top 5 Players in 2A Girls Basketball
These honors place both players among the elite performers in Class 2A across Arkansas.
