Organizers have announced that the Searcy Public Schools Career Expo 2026, titled “Fall in Love with Your Future,” will take place on Wednesday, February 11, providing expanded opportunities for students in grades 8 through 12 to explore career pathways and connect directly with business and industry professionals.

The event is designed to offer hands-on exposure to real-world careers while allowing local and regional businesses to showcase their industries, equipment, and career opportunities.
One of the main features of the expo will be Business and Industry Booths, where participating organizations will host interactive displays around the concourse. Activities may include hands-on demonstrations with tools or equipment, live demonstrations, competitions, and interactive challenges that allow students to experience different career fields firsthand.
Another key component is Career Conversations, which allows professionals to sign up for short speaking slots to discuss their career paths and provide guidance to students interested in similar fields. This flexible format makes it easier for professionals to participate without committing to the full day. Career areas may include healthcare, education, skilled trades, and technical professions.
The expo will also include an Outdoor Exploration Area, where companies can bring vehicles, equipment, or demonstration trailers for students to explore and engage with in an interactive setting.
Organizers say the goal is to create an engaging experience that helps students better understand real-world career opportunities while strengthening connections between education and the business community.
