The U.S. Geological Survey reported two small earthquakes near Lynn, Arkansas, on Saturday evening, though no residents have reported feeling the shaking.

The first earthquake occurred at 5:20 p.m., striking about 2 miles west-northwest of Lynn. According to the USGS, it registered a magnitude 2.0 with a depth of approximately 1.2 miles beneath the surface.

A second tremor followed later in the evening at 9:12 p.m., occurring 1.5 miles west of Lynn. That quake measured magnitude 1.8, also at a depth of about 1.2 miles, the USGS said.

The agency encourages anyone who may have felt either earthquake to submit a report on its website to help improve seismic data tracking. As of Sunday morning, no felt reports had been submitted for either event.
