U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Chairman John Boozman is applauding the White House’s newly announced farm assistance package, calling it critical support for American producers as they navigate ongoing market challenges.
Boozman released a statement praising President Trump’s action, saying the assistance will “bridge the gap” until farmers see the benefits of recent trade agreements and the forthcoming “One Big Beautiful Bill,” a major farm policy package expected to bring long-term stability to the agriculture sector.
“America’s farm families share President Trump’s vision for increased market access,” Boozman said. “Delivering this farm assistance will bridge the gap until farmers realize the benefits of recent trade deals. This announcement provides much-needed relief to rural America.”
Boozman added that, as chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, he remains committed to ensuring American agriculture continues to deliver “the safest, most affordable food, fuel, and fiber in the world.”
