The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Little Rock District will waive day use fees including Beaver Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, Bull Shoals Lake, DeGray Lake, DeQueen Lake, Dierks Lake, Greers Ferry Lake, Lake Greeson, Lake Ouachita, and Millwood Lake in Arkansas on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, in observance of National Public Lands Day.

The waiver applies only to boat launch ramps and swim beaches at recreation areas managed by the district. It does not include camping, camping-related services, or fees for specialized facilities and events.

For nearly five decades, the Little Rock District has led cleanup efforts across lakes and rivers in the region. In 1994, those efforts were formally recognized as part of National Public Lands Day, which has grown into the nation’s largest single-day volunteer event for public lands.

USACE is encouraging volunteers to take part in upcoming shoreline cleanup events, helping continue this long-standing tradition of service.
