A sudden blaze ignited on a quiet stretch of road in Conway County, prompting an immediate response from local fire crews.

Firefighters from Hillcreek, Overcup, and Birdtown quickly contained a grass fire on Robb Road north of Solgohacia, reporting no injuries, no threatened homes, and no property damage; the cause remains unknown as the county continues its burn ban.

Firefighters from Hillcreek, Overcup, and Birdtown responded Wednesday evening to a grass fire on Robb Road, north of Solgohacia off Highway 9, according to the Conway County Fire Department. The crews arrived promptly after reports of flames.

The teams brought the blaze under control quickly, preventing it from spreading. Their rapid action limited the fire to the grass area.

Although several homes are situated nearby, none were threatened, and no injuries or property damage were reported. Residents were reassured as the fire was subdued.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Authorities reminded the public that Conway County remains under a burn ban.
