Live music, food, vendors and family activities are coming to Greers Ferry City Park Saturday, September 5, for the 3rd Annual Rock-2-Roll Benefit.
The event raises money to help build a community skatepark for area children and will feature an evening of live music headlined by Lucero.
Gates at Greers Ferry City Park open at 11:00 a.m.
From 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy access to the food trucks and vendor area for $5.
The festival grounds will include a food court, Kid Zone, approximately 20 vendor spaces, sponsor area and main stage.
Kids 12 and under receive free admission throughout the day.
The music portion of the event runs from 3:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 on the day of the event.
The entertainment schedule begins at 4:00 p.m. with the Skate The Lake introduction.
Amber Rae Dunn takes the stage at 4:15 p.m., followed by Rowdy Franks at 5:30 p.m.
The Chris Baker Band performs at 6:45 p.m.
Lucero will headline the night with a performance beginning at 8:00 p.m.
The 3rd Annual Rock-2-Roll Benefit is being held at Greers Ferry City Park on Park Lane in Greers Ferry.
Organizers say proceeds from the benefit will help raise money to build a community skatepark for kids, giving local young people another recreational opportunity in the Greers Ferry area.
Music tickets are available in advance through Eventbrite.
