A devastating incident near Monicello, Arkansas.

An emergency evacuation helicopter was called in after a devastating car crash that left the driver “entrapped.” You can view the photographs released from the scene below.

Monticello Fire Department Rescue responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 278 West near Wilmar early Wednesday. The crash was reported at 3:47 a.m. Aug. 26.

The driver was trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters extracted the motorist from the vehicle.

The injured driver was then airlifted from the scene. No further details on the cause or the driver’s condition have been released.
