The next generation of entrepreneurs will be in the spotlight as the Cleburne County 4-H Kids Market returns to Spring Park Pavilion on Saturday, July 25, giving local 4-H members the opportunity to showcase their creativity, business skills and hard work while offering unique products to the community.
The family-friendly market will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and will feature a wide variety of homemade, handcrafted and homegrown items created by talented young people from across Cleburne County.
Presented by the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service, the event encourages residents to shop locally while supporting youth entrepreneurship and helping young people develop valuable life skills.
Visitors can browse tables filled with fresh produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, home décor, gifts and other one-of-a-kind items produced by local 4-H members.
Organizers say the market provides much more than a shopping experience. It allows young participants to gain real-world experience in entrepreneurship, budgeting, customer service, marketing and business management while building confidence and leadership skills.
The event carries the theme “Young Makers. Big Ideas. Bright Futures.” and celebrates the accomplishments of local youth while encouraging community members to invest in the future by supporting tomorrow’s business leaders.
Families are encouraged to attend, meet the young vendors and shop for locally made products while helping support the educational mission of 4-H.
Admission is free, and everyone is invited to attend.
The Cleburne County 4-H Kids Market will be held Saturday, July 25, from 7:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Spring Park Pavilion in Heber Springs.
