The Old Independence Regional Museum Homeschool Day will take place Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the museum located at 380 S. 9th Street in Batesville.
The special educational event invites homeschool families to explore Arkansas maps and geography through hands-on crafts, interactive map activities, and a museum-wide scavenger hunt. Organizers say the program is designed specifically for reading-age students to encourage participation and meaningful learning while connecting creativity with Arkansas history.
The cost is $10 per child. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
