The IHOP restaurant in Searcy will permanently close its doors on Sunday, March 22, ending 20 years of serving the local community.

A notice posted on the restaurant’s door confirms the closure and thanks employees and the community for their support over the past 20 years.
The statement reads in part that the company is “deeply saddened to announce the permanent closure of this location” and expressed appreciation for the dedication of employees and the support of customers throughout the years.
The restaurant, located along East Race Avenue in Searcy, has long been a popular breakfast destination for families, travelers, and local residents looking for pancakes, omelets, and other all-day breakfast favorites.
The notice also encourages customers to visit other nearby locations including IHOP in Cabot and IHOP in Conway.
For many residents across Searcy and White County, the restaurant has been a familiar place for early morning breakfasts, late-night meals, and gatherings with friends and family.
The closure marks the end of a longtime national restaurant presence in the city and represents another shift in the local dining landscape.
Community members who have memories of dining at the Searcy IHOP are already sharing stories and photos online reflecting on the restaurant’s 20 years serving the community.
